Alexander Williams

Alexander Williams was born in New Jersey
Into a family immersed in music and singing
Alex was already established in a group with his brothers while still in grade school and later started touring the overseas venues right out of high school. He then went on to work with the musical group Kool and The Gang to witness the smash hit “Celebration” produced by Deadato. This enabled him to acquire the needed skills to create a unique sound of his own using computer digital programming. He also participated in the off Broadway play “DON’T BOTHER ME I CANT COPE” with Alex Bradford.
After a brief hiatus from the music scene in the 80s he spent time at different colleges where he studied Computer Science and Programming. He was invited by his friend Ronald Bell “Khalis Bayan of Kool and the Gang to work on the Jimmy Cliff album “HANGIN FIRE” on CBS Sony Label. This started an ongoing relationship with Jimmy and Alex’s musical programming skills that continued in the Delilah films “A REGGIE SESSION” which featured CARLOS SANTANA, GRACE JONES, ZIGGEY MARLEY AND OTHERS Recorded live in Jamaica.
By the time this film was released Alex was working with the soulful sounds of the MANHATTANS on there “BACK TO BASICS” Project released on Columbia Records.
Alex subsequently drifted forward to programming computers and designing midi systems for the Corporate Company AT&T.
In addition with working with AT&T he continues performing Computer Music Exhibitions around the world with Carnival Cruise Lines and various other professional entertainment providers.
